While this jam is meant for the students of MGCCC as an assignment, it is totally not limited to students and we welcome any and all submissions!

Theme

The theme for the jam will be announced upon jam start! Adherence to the theme is mandatory for students.

This jam's theme is: Connection

Time Limit

All entries must be created within the week time limit--submitting previous projects is not allowed! Using resources and assets from previous projects is allowed.

Teams

Teams are totally allowed! For students, teams of only up to three members are allowed.

Original Work

All games submitted to the jam must be original creations.

Content Guidelines

Entries should not contain graphic material, such as explicit violence, nudity, or offensive content.

Technology and Tools

You are free to use any game development tools, engines, or programming languages you'd like! For students, stick with Unity for your engine.

Submissions will be rated in four categories:

Funness: How fun was this to play?

Uniqueness: Have you seen this done before?

Appearance: How polished did the game look? Was the art style interesting?

Theme: How well did this game adhere to the theme?

There is no prize for winning, aside from bragging rights and a fun new portfolio piece.

IMPORTANT: You will be unable to modify your submission (re-upload your project) after the end date of the jam. You will still be able to make edits to your game's page, but the game itself will be locked. This lock will be removed after the voting period closes!
