I can't help but be impressed, despite already by familiar with my friend Hannahs' work and having rummaged through its mind over countless topics. The Welkte showcases a command of visuals and writing alike beyond reproach. The use of time here is excellent... textbook, even. You cannot walk away from any given page with the impression that what you've experienced was filler. It is exactly this tight, weaving style of writing that allows the VN to impart an entire journey's, two entire lives' (if not more in my book), tragedy over just the span of its final days.
An unshakable decision towards pacing. An unshakable decision towards character. An unshakable decision towards language. An unshakable decision towards choice. What else can I call The Welkte but unshakable itself, then?
