Also known as "Tavern Jam", "Tavern Game Jam"
These are seasonal, casual game jams that our community “The Artists Tavern” takes part in. Anyone with an interest in making games is welcome to join!

Our main goal here is to give you a fun, casual environment to test out your skills, add some more work to your portfolio and make some friends along the way!

Theme: "FAILURE MEANS PROGRESS"

Palette: We have a colour palette we have chosen to use, you can use it a guide, no need to strictly stick to it!

**NOTE: Doesn't have to be autumn themed

Duration: 1 week , Monday 18th - Sunday 24th 7pm (UTC+1)

**Consideration for timezones will be given! 

Tools to make game:

Anything, as long as it can run on Windows, web  browsers, and does not require additional software or hardware to play!

Assets:

Participants are encouraged to make their own assets the day of the jam. But, if you are going solo or lack the experience, you may use existing code and whatever legal uses of sound and art assets you can get hold of or make. Make sure to credit anything that isn’t yours!

AI Tools for art and code:

Strictly not allowed, even to brainstorm, we have plenty of help on the server and else where, for the spirit of the jam no use of AI in any way.

No limit, can choose your own, or you can go solo.

Only people who submit a game can rate the other games. You must rate three random games before you can rate other games. The criteria for ratings this year are: 

🏆Judging Criteria:

• Design of the game: How easy is it understand the gameplay?
• Gameplay: How enjoyable is it to play?
• Creativity: How well does it use the theme?

Winners will be announced a week after event ends at the latest.
