Really liked this one guys. Has the feel of Mario without looking anything like it so think that's a massive job well done.

Awesome game! Controls feel great, the art is amazing, loved the background and massive sweets. Also nice idea to have the bouncy platforms and difference surface effects. Few things I could say to improve is to make it more obvious when you have lost a life, as I didn't notice I was at first, and the hitbox for the enemy was quite large, I sometimes got hit if I was just next to them. Maybe just a sound effect would work.  Also on the second level in the tunnel, it felt really slow waiting for the enemy's to move, so it was just quicker to lose a life and walk past them. But that's me just being fussy, its amazing how you managed this in one week.

Agree with the criticism entirely! I did last minute try to code in a sound effect on getting hit, but for some reason it just wasn't working and we had to submit. The second level was also rushed a bit due to time constraints. Glad you enjoyed it!

This is such a nice game!! I freaking love the pink candies that launch you up, and you can control the height from extending the jump on a wall AAAAAAAH ITS SO GOOD I'm gonna play this for a very long time

Yes, the wall jump is *definitely* a feature.
It's a bug I was aware of for a really long time, but fixing it would have been a lot of hassle and time-consuming, so i'm glad to hear you actually enjoy it haha

LOL it was a bug? I didn't even bother breakig the cookies as I enjoyed launching myself up high and going through it form above XD
