In this game jam, the challenge is to create a text based game in three days time. Anything else besides that doesn't matter; the theme can be anything, the length can be anything, as long as it's text based. The term text based might be different for some people. I'd say the furthest you could take graphics in a text based game would be a map made out of characters, similar to Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup.

Hopefully, this will give some of us a chance to experiment and try to create something unique out of something simple.
