'DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE FINAL BOSS'

your game must have a 'final boss' in some form to test the player. It could be a shadow form of your heroes. It could be a huge robot, it could be the final scoreboard that attacks you or.... it could be the friends we made along the way. 

Feel free to have fun and stretch this theme as far as you want. 

common question:

1) In cases of endless mode games, a final boss should be outlined in some form during the run

2) No a final boss doesn't need to be at the end of the game

3) yes hidden bosses are still allowed as long as a 'final boss' is literate in some form 

4) I'm pretty open-minded and flexible on the theme, if you have a fun way to demonstrate a final boss go with it. if you have a question feel free to dm me on discord

We are back!

The 4th Vaultacular Game Jam is a two-week(ish) game development jam for game developers at any level.

Anyone can enter this jam as a team, a duo or try the iron man run and do it solo!   

Any engine can be used

LIMITATIONS

The limitation along with the theme are special conditions that your game MUST follow, or your game will be disqualified. The limitation for this game jam is 'THREE HEROES' meaning your game MUST have three separate playable forms or characters. They have different ability's like in Mario 2, have one player that swaps between one another or have even have team or how ever you seem fit!

RULES!

• You can only develop your game within the time frame of two weeks from
• Updates are allowed after the game has been submitted
• No NSFW content or excessive gore/violence.
• Though you are encouraged to try to create your own assets, you can use premade assets that were not made for or during this jam from previous projects or from an asset pack as long as stated in your games bio. 
• Please, follow the limitations given!
• Please, read the rules!

Any games that do not follow these rules may be removed from the jam.

RATING

There will NOT be a ranking or prize at the end of this jam. 

This jam is for personal development and peer feedback.

The feedback should follow these points  

- How players enjoy their time playing the game.    

- How well the game kept within the limitations and the theme. 

- overall concept 

- How interesting and/or unique the main focus of the game was.
