Welcome to the Academic Game Jam of 2024, an annual event that brings together learners from all areas of education for an exciting, globally ranked game development competition. Whether you're a seasoned developer, a creative designer, or a passionate gamer with fresh ideas, this is your chance to showcase your skills on an international stage.

Who Can Participate:

This game jam is open to students, educators, and self-learners from all educational backgrounds. Whether you're in high school, college, University or pursuing independent studies, we welcome you to join the challenge.

The Theme, Rules & Objectives:

• We will be revealing the theme the morning off the jam at 10:30. (Monday the 17th of June)

• There is no limitation on the engine that you wish to use for this Jam. 

• You are aloud to use assets & code that is royalty / copyright free within your games.

Judging Criteria:

Games will be judged on the following criteria:

• Creativity and Innovation
• Gameplay Feel and Mechanics
• Sticking to the Brief
