  • Who doesn't love a 'dark, dnak room' that 'smell of rot and filth'? The pit trap beyond the secret door seems a little harsh, given that once triggered it will become a permanent feature, if your band of Heroes are unwilling to take the risk of jumping the pit, going the other route will add to the playtime length, with no clear advantage. There is a lot of 'loot' to be gathered in this Quest, which may be unnecessary for a group of experience players. Overall this is a fairly standard Quest to the centre room to defeat the monster (or in this case monsters) of the week - whilst the twist that the enemy is a set of characters that mirror our Heroes is welcome, this Quest add little new to HeroQuest.
  • I really like the set-up for this quest. The use of the heroes as the final confrontation is clever. The only points that I would consider refining would be: playing with the route to the central room - currently there is a relatively direct route that would only involve 4 creature encounters. The corridor marked with F could actually be a through route vs an obvious dead end, possibly? Great work though, and thanks for submitting!
