Pretty addicting game. I got my house upgrade to a mansion and made it to level 7 forest. I found the humor to be enjoyable. Only thing I did not like was the dungeon battles. I suppose I need to grind more to make better progress or find some weapons or more spells.

The game is just a proof of concept ...there are sadly no weapons to find yet xD You can buy some spells from the old lady at the food shop but other then that you get stronger from getting house upgrades, improving your tools, upgrading the food shop for better buffs and using the status points that you get from clearing exploration stages. Thanks a lot for playing the game ^^ im glad the gameplay loop kind of works .
Quite a fun little core game loop! I dig it.
Didn't jive with all of the humour personally, but that's me. Can pet the dog though, so automatic +1 of course.
I did manage to soft lock myself immediately by climbing up onto the boat from the little walkway in front of it and wasn't able to get back down. Likely an easy fix.
Fun experience that could be expanded on in cool ways. I didn't get heaps far but would like to see the tent change aesthetically etc. (this may happen with later upgrades, I got about 4 upgrades in I think). Also a stink meter would be nice, so I knew what I was working towards in terms of gettin' fresh.

The House does Change every 5 Levels 😁 i will balance stuff and work on the npcs since we get 2 more weeks to work on it now. Did you try to jump from the boat? I should include some Control Tutorials for the not so obvious actions.The whole stink thing was very rushed and needs some work 😁 thanks a lot for your input.
Ha, I genuinely didn't realise there was a jump button! What a duffer. So yes, it's probably fine as is with a little controls reminder for people like me.
Awesome re: house upgrade, maybe a little bar that fills up 1/5th every upgrade? Would get me with that just one more run and I can fill up the thing kind of dopamine hit. I must have been so close!
I really like the stinky thing as a potential upgrade/sense of progression path. Quirky and not over the top like a generic prophecy to save the world thing. You're just a dude wanting to get clean so you can socialise a bit. :D
