Once upon a time, a user at Lemmasoft created a challenge called "The Worst VN/KN Ever Made" both in 2012 and 2013. The challenge was simple... make a horrid visual novel. By horrible, I mean horrible. It was a difficult challenge because your game couldn't be so bad it's good, it had to be so horrendous to the point it'd make you groan. Which is actually a lot more difficult than you can imagine! It was a fun challenge and since the original creator decided not to continue it, I seek to bring it back to life again here--at itch.io, to see if YOU have what it takes to throw all your skills out the window and release a half-baked piece of trash that nobody wants. Or.... will you fail and make people love and adore your game for its charming badness? Let's see what you got, soldier!

HOW IT WORKS/RULES:
- Only games made for and during this  jam. MUST be a visual novel of some sort (branching, Kinetic, Sound, even non-visual content like text adventure is acceptable). No adult content allowed! 
- Pre-made assets are allowed, so long as they are CC and you provide credit.
(Hint: terribly created original assets however will add to your essential badness)
- Throw away your perfectionist nitpicking and see what happens when you really don't care and just FINISH something.
- The aesthetic doesn't have to be ugly, you can attempt to make an atrocious game that's all shiny! 
- Fail expectations is the name of the game. If you make a promising looking project that ultimately falls lackluster, good job!
- If your game is perceived boring, not fun, forgettable, makes people groan, congrats! You are a winner!
- If you sadly make a game that is "So Bad, It's Good" do not fret... it's OK to fail sometimes, it just means that's the crappiest you could come up with.
