This is the submission portal for the week-long Thesis Jam preceding Thesis I. You may work in a team or alone, your work can be digital/non-digital/postdigital. The culmination will be a live event to see what's been made, and will also be the moment when you'll decide what projects to start work on during the semester, and who you want to work with.

Rules:

  • The project you submit can be a WIP, something you've been working on already, or just a pitch!
  • This is not a contract. Approach this jam with the spirit of experimentation and trying things out; you can always shift gears afterwards.
  • This is not a marriage. During and after Thesis Jam, our policy is: "it's always OK to ask to work together, and it's always OK to decline when asked."
  • Feel free to post builds and dev-logs throughout the week and keep up with each other's projects, provide feedback, suggest tools etc.
  • Take breaks, socialize, get to know one another! You'll be spending a whole year with these people as your constant companion. No one else will understand better the experience of working on a Game Design Thesis in 2020-21 than your colleagues.

We will be playing your submissions and discussing your findings at the start of first class on Thursday, September 3rd 2020, 1PM.
