Toasted Game jam is a game jam  hosted by me, that takes place on itch.io twice a month. It will always run from the 7th to the 14th, and the 21st to the 28th. Voting is two days. The winner gets a winner role on the discord server, and in all future videos on my channel, their game and itch username will be included in a list of games that will pop up at a surprise time in the video. The jam has a theme and a catch. The catch is a surprise limitation you must follow. Think of the theme as a guide to helping you spark ideas. It is optional, but following it leads to a funner experience, trust me.

You may interpret this in any way you want. For example, working a boring office job while being blocked by something, or finding strange ways around puzzles. It's up to you. Also remember, it's optional.

  • No NSFW content.
  • No making one game for this and other jams.
  • No loopholes
  • You kinda have to rate other submissions
  • Theme is optional, catch is mandatory
  • I can remove your game or disqualify you if I want
  • Starter templates are allowed and you can use any assets you have the right to use
  • You can use any game engine. Or use none at all.
  • Teams of up to 5 are allowed.
