The Jam will officially start on the 25th of May at 8 PM CEST. You will have 2 weeks to create a game and submit it.

Starting the 8th of June, there will be a 2 weeks of voting period for all of us to test and rate games.

What tool /game engine / program can I use?

Anything

Will the Jam be ranked?

Yes.  
Only games that are made during the jam will be accepted for vote. Games that are submitted to other jams and/or made in another timeline will not be accepted.

Following a community vote, the entries will be ranked according to:

Gameplay
Innovation
Theme
Audio
Graphics
Fun

Is there a Theme to follow?

Yes! There will be a Theme. But it's optional, if you don't feel like following it, feel free to create whatever your heart desire.

How long is the Jam?

It will last 2 weeks to offer a nice blend of weekends and weekdays

How long will be the judging period?

It will last 2 weeks after the submission period ended

Will you be playing entry live on twitch?

Togis and Bu will try to play a maximum amount of entry on https://www.twitch.tv/tobugis within the limit of possibility giving priority to developers present in chat.

We love playing and chatting with developers. If you are not present on stream, we do not guarantee we will play your game live, but we will definitively play it offline.

We reserve the right to skip an entry if it's obviously built in order to disturb the stream or the community.

Do I need to make my game open source?

No, there is no requirement to make you code open source. Everything you create is yours and you do with it what you want.

Do I need to make everything myself? Code, Art, Music, Text, etc?

No, we are not expert in everything. If you need it, feel free to use copyright free assets, or assets you own the rights to.
Just let everyone know what you used in your game entry so we know to not rate your game based on that.

Also, consider joining a team by asking on discord if you are an expert in one topic and would like help on another one!

Can I stream too?

Of course! Feel free to share, stream, record youtube video, create any content: from developing your own game to playing others. We will love to come and support you as well so let us know! If we are not at work or sleeping, we will sure join!
