Very interesting concept! At first it wasn't clear that I would keep floating for eternity if I missed a text! :D Could maybe do an automatic restart? Still, pretty cool idea with the negative texts! :D
Thanks, I was thinking about an asteroids style wrap-around, but I think the restart (or even just a button prompt popping up after you've been drifting for a while) would keep it feeling "spacey"-er and less claustrophobic. Either way, three hours proved too harsh a deadline to get the level of polish I'd like (though it'd probably have scope-creeped its way into being an RTS or something if I hadn't had the pressure). It was a lot of fun to make - thanks for hosting!
I love this haha!
Lots of personality and charm, your voice really comes through. Very cute and well done. Great job!
Thanks!
Find one more bug, while playing it again) Sometimes you can ‘stuck’ in text, and jumping in it will result in moving in same text to a little bit
Haha, you've only yourself to blame for coming back to it. I'm not sure what was causing that, but I wound up doing some weird stuff to get both collision and rotating with words working within the 3 hours. I'm sure there are much better ways that'd eliminate the bug
It is my (unbiased) opinion, this is a very intelligent and expert interpretation of the theme. I feel like one more mechanic (Jumping backwards/flipping the astronaut on contact) would of helped a lot. Really like the minimalist approach
Thanks! Rotating it wouldn't have been hard; unfortunately I just ran out of time (so it's nice, but perhaps inaccurate, of you to assume that the minimalism was the result of a design decision rather than of time constraints).
fitting to constraints is totally design even if it's not upfront. Definitely understand with the time constraints
Just played yours and your comment makes a lot more sense now. Interpretation buddies!
