Looks rad, but I think armor maxes out at 3 (Heavy) for player characters.

Hello! While it is true that the rules says that armour goes only up to 3, that means you could still have armour 4 if you get a shield. So, we are still good, because the Spider-Human can’t use a shield. =)

Okay, but does it really make sense for an exo-skeleton to be just as strong as a full suit of heavy armor and a shield while also taking up 0 inventory slots instead of 7? I like the idea here a lot, but I would consider toning it down to medium armor, or caping the inventory max at 6 or 7 due to their size.

So, in any point I said that it took 0 slots… As I put it only as armour, it takes 8 slots. So, there are only 4 slots remaining before there are some penalties. And that is on purpose: the Spider-Human cannot use items created for human. The idea is that in reality they will not be using items at all. That is the “unbalance” of using the background that has armour 4. Besides, remember: you can, for sure, adjust that on your table :)
