Your goal?  To develop educational language learning games. As a participant, you will have the opportunity to:

1. Showcase your work (winning games will be used by learners at www.LanguagesPathways.ie and will be available on itch.io) 

2. Meet students from other campuses and increase your team work skills!

3. Participate in a fun competition and raise money for a good cause of your choice! Play your part in solidarity.

Game Brief 

The game can cover a specific language topic or a general area of language learning such as vocabulary, grammar, speaking or listening. There are pre-existing online resources http://frenchgrammartour.com/ and www.languagespathways (let’s play).

There is a SPECIAL PRIZE this year for a winnning game playable within in a Mozilla Virtual world!

Teams 

Registration is open to TUDublin students from diverse programmes (Language, Creative Digital Media and Game Design, etc.). Teams will be formed before the event with at least one person from each of the different disciplines. REGISTER HERE before Friday 17th February 5pm.  

Place 

The event will be hosted on MS Teams. After the launch, teams can continue to use Teams or setup their communication server on Discord or Slack/Whatsapp for instance. There will be 2 one hour-long clinics during the weekend.
