there have been a few changes since last year, notably the title, which has been changed to better represent the new state of this game jam, which now allows any level of game makers. the winners are separated into their level: beginner, intermediate and expert.

This Edition's Theme

The theme will be revealed on the 31st of July, at 12:00:00. look at the countdown!

Rules

the rules since last year have been modified a little:

The game:

1-Must be available either:

 -------a) on linux (ubuntu or as an .appimage)* AND windows

 -------b) android AND as a webpage  

 -------c) as a webpage (HTML5)

2-Be under 450mb large

3-Must follow the theme

4-Have been made by a team of 6 or less people (or in solo)

5-Have been made by people of over 13 years of age at the time of submission (on the 31st of July) (a 6 months gap is allowed )

6-must be SFW.

*if your game works well with Wine, a linux package isn't necessary, but still recommended.

Scoring and misc

The winners are now separated into 3 levels:

Beginner, recommended if you have never done a game before

Intermediate, if you made a few (small) games before

Expert, if you have a fair share of small games and projects or some larger ones.

-important criteria: is it fun (or emotional!) to play?                               FUN

-important criteria: good soundtracks, art, story?                                   QUALITY

-Unseen ideas? Creative and unexpected ways of doing things?    NOVELTY
