Methodology
I use Ableton live 11 as my DAW! I used various VSTs, like mel lofi and Crucible pipe organ. I wanted to go for a crazed, maniacal feeling, so I went with a fast tempo and a bouncy, yet dark underlying bass/chord progression. I used a pan flute vst (The Hove Flute) for the melody because i thought it sounded like a calliope, a classic circus instrument. I also used Serum to make all the chiptune like sounds.
