When I first saw the theme, the first thing that came into my head was plants - growth. Like fresh vegetables. I wanted to write about a character who was in need of a change in his life but will also learn that changes to start anew does not come easy. He will learn that in order to start fresh, he will need to confront with his past and learn to let it go - making sure it no longer holds him back. And ultimately, he'll learn to live with those changes in his life and grow into a better person. He'll grow up with a friend and their garden.
