That was a nice twist on the first person dungeon crawler genre, having to plan with the randomness of the cards you are assigned is a fun gameplay feature. I really liked it and it would be cool to see this as a bigger project :) One suggestion though maybe the axe is too strong you can just wait for the enemies to come up to you and then use to axe and kill them all in one blow, but it's also very satisfying to do it too.
Pretty clever what you manage to achieve.
