Hello and welcome to the 14th Annual Gamejam hosted by the University of Portsmouth! Our Gamejam runs a bit differently to normal jams, in the fact that it is a week long event where staff, students, alumni and industry professionals try to make a game during normal office hours to avoid crunch culture. On the last day of the jam we have industry judges come in to vote on the games in various categories and have an awards ceremony to wrap up the week!
We are running the event physically on University premises in Eldon Building, Portsmouth (https://goo.gl/maps/2dHFmw2EYeb2FRib8). The opening ceremony will be held on Monday 4th July, 9am in room number ELW1.11.
You will also be able to attend virtually, in which case the opening and closing ceremonies will be livestreamed (links to follow).
We will be using Discord to help manage things and encourage all participants to join!
