I doubt I will replay it with new content in that timeframe, so I'll base it on the act 1 (and 2?). You completely mogged the entirety of the jam. I used your game as a score benchmark which resulted in some other games getting really low ratings.

Music is nice (although remixing popular hits is a bit unfair). The graphic style isn't state of the art but all the theme, composition and design work pull it back into great zone.

Gameplay is good compared to what I'd expect from other rpg maker games. Lots of equipment choices from the get go, items with risk attached, karma system, optional minibosses. I'm only giving 4 stars because I'm not a fan of turn based combat and I'm reserving 5 stars for necrovale (or at least I hope it will ace it).

Thank you! Act 1 is the first part concerning child Sarah, act 2 is  the part concerning teen Sarah and act 3 concerns Billy and Adult Sarah which you got to meet very briefly at the end of act 2.  Act 3 gets a "title screen", act 1 and 2 will have one each as well at some point.  Necrovale is great btw, I don't think you will be disappointed .

Those songs are not remixes btw, they are covers ;). Nothing was sampled.

Act3 v1 is up if you want to continue. There is information in my latest devlog on it and how to skip ahead but if ya cant be bothered this is what you do:

1: Start a new game and choose “not to take the tutorial.”

2: Proceed as usual.

3: Once you reach the Swirling Tree, go back the way you came from but let the jumping deer pass the screen first, it creates a stupid bug otherwise.

4: MR.TV is the guy you need to talk to if you want to go directly into ACT3.

5: When choosing which level to start Act3 Winter at, know that 17 is actually pretty hard, lower levels are even harder.

When I get back to fiddling with act 1 and 2 I might increase the xp on some bosses to make sure a player who goes through the game without the cheating room ends up on an appropriate level.

6: Choose the Begin ACT3 option at the end of the string of choices if you want to be able to progress through the narrative. The other options are for fucking around and testing shit and will break progression in different ways.

One beautiful day it will be possible to transfer save-files from one demo to the next.

If you want to try this shit I suggest waiting a few more days. Act3 is playable until completion but I still want to polish it a little bit more before I release its early build. You will be able to skip ahead though and still keep your choices so if you want to play Act1 and 2 right away you will not miss anything if you return to it later.
