/v/ and /AGDG/ developers return once again for the fourth year!

What is /v/3?

/v/3 is an online showcase of games and projects made by anons from 4chan’s gamedev community on /v/ and on /agdg/, mixed in with a small animated story and shitposts to make the showcase something… special… to watch. You can check out the previous year’s show here: v3 - The E3 Replacement - YouTube . We also encourage devs to join in the show’s production by submitting booths and avatars to be animated into the show! (more information below)

When is /v/3 and where is it streamed?

/v/3 2024 will be on June 22nd, 2024 at 5PM EST. We stream the show on Youtube, /v4c/, and Comfytheatre.

Story Overview:

/v/3 2023: Battle Royale

After last year’s successful show, and the defeat of the powerful evil Zavok, Dr. Eggman has retired leaving the show in Squilchan’s capable hands. However, she finds that her first year alone is met with an unexpected challenge in the form of the baiting, unproductive crabs!

Submission Guidelines

- Each participant must provide a trailer for their game. (Two games per dev maximum)
- Trailers can be between 1 minute and 4 minutes in length and must include the title of the game.
- Trailers can be resubmitted and revisited till one week before the submission deadline
- Trailers must be less than 6 months old from the submission deadline, no exceptions will be made
- Trailers will be reviewed by admins and a confirmation will be sent to you on your submitted platform
- If your game will debut at /v/3 before anywhere else, tell us, and we can give you a special mark on your trailer!

When are the deadlines for Submissions?

Starting from April 1st, submissions are open till June 1st, 2024. Thats two months to present a cool trailer!

Special Submission Content (OPTIONAL):

Devs participating in this year’s show are encouraged to use our templates to make their own game booths, and (new this year) animated avatars to be worked into the animation of the show! Examples of booth designs:

- Adhere to the templates provided
- Booth due date to be determined by the animator
- Booth revisions are due no later than the submission date for the booths. No exceptions
- Adhere to a PG-13 guideline for visual content (nudity, regardless of how epic it might be, will not be accepted, nor gore, or feet).

Skits/bumpers, similar to Sonic the Jihard or other non indie game material will be reviewed and accepted!
