This game jam is the Video Game Development Club's 2023 Spring Jam in partnership with the NC State University Libraries. As part of this partnership our theme are game mediums rather than a theme:

Mediums:
  • Board/Card Game: this can be made in partnership with the Makerspace.
  • VR Game: this can be made in partnership with the VR Studio.
  • WebGL: this can be made in partnership with the Innovation Studio.
  • 360 Game: this can be made in partnership with the Visualization Studio. (Packages for 360 game can be found here)

Rules:

  1. Try to stick to the four mediums
    1. This is not required, but we highly encourage you to stick with one of the four suggested platforms.
  2. Keep the games T for Teen at most.
    1. If you wouldn't submit your game to your professor then don't submit it to us. Thanks.
  3. Be respectful of other people's games and questions.
    1. We all come from different backgrounds and skill sets. The bullying of other teams and the degradation of other projects will not be tolerated and will result in immediate team disqualification. We are here to learn and grow as a community so let's keep the environment friendly.
  4. Submissions must be uploaded by 8 pm, Wednesday, April 19th.
    1. This means making sure you leave time to build, export, and upload your game. Submissions will be reviewed starting at 8 pm, April 19th.
