Description of entry
I loved the shades of blue in the image theme. My friend Vanessa used them for the cover art. When I heard "drifting away", my first thought was smoke. I started from imagining what type of game I would be making a sound track for. This is brief description of that game.

You have an hour real-life time to explore the vast áilleacht mountain, fight bosses, upgrade weapons, and finally reach the top, to watch the sun rise and the smoke of the fire you make drift away. You get one life, few heals, and meet a few quirky characters along the way.

My inspirations lately and for these few bits have been the heavy synths of daft punk's album discovery.
My process is to find instruments I loved on garage band and make weird chords with them.
I used garage band on my phone for all of these tracks, though I hope to expand to a more professional setup later.

honestly I don't take my music extremely seriously but I thought it would be fun to try and submit, thanks for making a cool jam to participate in!

Very unique take on the theme! I like the atmosphere you are building and how calming it sounds. Would be awesome to hear these in open world games!

Really cool soundtrack and idea, especially for the game concept! These tracks are so relaxing too, especially Coming up the Mountain and The Ancient Forest (which I feel like ties into each other really well). Also, let Vanessa know the cover art is amazing too!
