Come on and Slam, and welcome to the Jam!
You can visit the Jam world and check it out here: VRChat World Jam 4 Demo World.
Jokes! Gags, gimmicks, and small pranks that make us laugh together.
VRCJokeJamTracker - You can include or modify the BopSystem as an easy way to fulfill this, or make something that calls the 'Execute' function on the VRCJokeJamTracker as a result of a player-initiated action in your world. You will need to use VRChat 2022.1.1p3, build 1172.
You have from now until noon PST on April 1st, 2022 to create a funny joke themed world, upload it to VRChat and we'll put our favorite submissions in a special world row, featured front and centered in VRChat.
Your world must fit both the Creative (something funny, etc) and Technical (use the VRCJokeJamTracker) themes.
All content submitted must make use of VRChat SDK3 to be qualified for entry. You can learn more about using SDK3's interactive language, "Udon" here - What is Udon?
Advanced Creators: You're welcome to create your own Joke Jam tracking system as long as it tracks a manual action by a player in your world and calls the "Execute" function on the VRCJokeJamTracker component (note that you will need to reference this component as "VRCCustomAction" type).
There isn’t a requirement for your content to be cross-platform compatible, but it will play a very strong role in the judgment criteria.
You must have the rights to use all content submitted within your world. This project includes a new license which gives you these rights for all the assets included in the project.
The Jam Kit contains the following:
Download the kit here, or fork the git repo if you want to easily keep your project up-to-date with the latest.
There are detailed docs on using the project and the included prefabs here: https://docs.vrchat.com/docs/joke-jam.
