A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
The characters are incredible, each with its own unique flavor and voice. I struggle to pick a favorite, as there isn't a single bad apple in the bunch. It is wonderful to see clans not normally explored in other VTM settings taking a prominent role in Regicide, in roles that might seem unexpected. I am enamored with two in particular, that have stolen my little heart.
The story is emotional and compelling. I laughed, cried, and spent far too long rocking in my chair as I mulled over the final choice. I honestly had to stand up and pace for a full 10 minutes.
The art is lovely and expressive. You know what everyone is about the moment they appear - or slide - on screen.
The music is fun and exciting too. I have been vibing to the title sequence as I write my review.
It was also quite nice to have an easily accessible glossary of terms used in the game so I can share it with friends who might not be knowledgeable about Vampire: The Masquerade, or other World of Darkness, lore. I am excited to go back and explore other options and endings soon.
