Like so many great ideas, this Jam started with a shit-post!

But here we are, and we will see this through! So here's what this jam is all about:

• exploration
• lighthearted fun
• wholesome encounters
• snacks - because who goes on a stroll without any snacks!

Besides these pointers, go with your instincts about what would be a fun stroll through a landscape, a map or a dungeon. Let your creativity wander and discover wonders for yourself that you want to share with us!

To keep this Jam safe for everyone, here are things we won't tolerate:

• trolling in the comment section: The comment section is to ask honest questions. If you start trolling, I'll simply ban you from the jam.
• racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, fatphobic, or other bigoted content: If you have to ask, the answer is yes.
  
• cultural appropriation: If you are creating something that uses elements from cultures other than your own, reach out to members of this culture for a sensitivity reading
• sensitive topics without a content warning: Make sure you create safe content. If you create something that touches sensitive topics, use content warnings CW in your description
• AI stuff: There's various reasons not to like AI in the creative field, but this is supposed to be cozy slow jam that runs for the whole of 2025, so take it slow and find some royalty free artwork and alter that the way you want it.

Credit your sources:

There are many excellent resources for creating games. Some are called SRDs (System Reference Documents) other are called Creator Kits. No matter what you use, make sure you credit the sources the way the creator indicates. Since I'm hosting this jam, I'll point out that you can build on any of my games or SRDs/Creator Kits simply by giving me a shoutout in your game and a link to the game/SRD/Creator Kit. But other creators might want you to use an image or a specific line to attribute them.

I did mention snacks, right? I mentioned that a good stroll goes perfect with a good snack. This Jam gives you the opportunity to highlight what you think would be a great snack for playing your game! Maybe include a recipe so others can enjoy your game the way you intended!
