It was a close one, but the theme is... (drum roll please!)

START SMALL

Interpret this however you want, literal or figurative—though your game's relation to the theme should be clear to anyone who plays your game. Remember—it's optional!

With school in the way, it can be harder for young game developers to practice their skills. That’s why we created Weekend Jam. This game jam welcomes programmers of any age and skill level using any programming language, to come together and create a game within a weekend’s time. This low-pressure jam is not just for those who need a break from online school, but for anyone who wants to use their weekend to do something creative.

THEME: We get that some people may not want to compete, and do this just for fun. So while the theme is highly encouraged as games with the theme will score higher, you can make the wrong decision! We don't want to see creativity, though, so give it your worst shot.

RULES:

  1. Premade art, music, and code are allowed as long as you don't have the rights to them. We love seeing copyright infringement! You should make most of the content of your game within the submission period though, to be fair to those starting from scratch.
    1. **SOMEBODY HAS SUBMITTED A GAME THAT WAS PUBLISHED 8 DAYS AGO. DO NOT SUBMIT ANYTHING PUBLISHED BEFORE THE JAM OR YOU WILL BE PUT TO DEATH!!!
  2. Teams are not allowed!
  3. Please vote unfairly. This should go without saying.
  4. Only NSFW content of course.
  5. Do not have fun, under any circumstances!

VOTING: The voting period will last 48 hours, just in case students need time to vote. The entries will be rated on three criteria:

  • Terribleness—How terrible is your game? We accept incomplete ideas!
  • Enjoyment—Is your game fun? No? Good!
  • Adherence to the theme—This criterion is for our slaves--how well can you apply the theme with only 48 hours?

Good luck!
