Simple idea, but explored in depth with the level design! I love this type of art style. Great job over all!

If you can, please consider paying and rating my game :)

Developer

Decent platforming, strong consistency in style.

Corpse based parkour platformers are swarming this gamejam; this is the best of them for 2 reasons:

  1. The puzzle element of having limited corpses. It makes it actually a game! You need to figure out where to put your corpses, not just spam them everywhere
  2. The name is great ;)

I don't know that there's much to improve - it's a simple well done package.

Further exploration of the idea might involve being able to recover corpse usages mid level somehow and corpses acting as more than just platformers and projectile blockers. Not sure what else ;)

Really nice, I love this artstyle. You executed it very well. Please add more level. This could make for a really good puzzle game!^^

Developer

thanks, i'll definitely consider expanding the game after the jam as a lot of people seemed to really like it!

Just finished the game, it's really cool, simple-looking, and the last level was a bit of a challenge, perfect for a game jam! I saw some screenshots of your game on Jonas discord server, we had the same mechanic in mind, but our games are totally different at the end.

Developer

thanks! it's amazing how many games can be so different with the same basic idea at the core.

Cool Game, the jump feels a bit restricting as the height does not vary and no matter how long you hold the jump button the height is the same which feels weird to me. The concept fits the theme well but due to the odd jump the platforming feels harder than it should be. 3/5

Developer

thanks for the review, the platforming was designed to feel hard as the game is oriented from a puzzle perspective as well as as a tough platformer. varied jumps, while, yes, improving on the fluidity of movement and making it feel nicer, reduced some of the challenge of the game. thanks for the feedback, probably should have considered some additional features regarding the jump.
