nice game! maybe add more juice and it would be amazing
Its a great game, i would love to see some more features added after the game jam! Amazing work :)
The ai ship could have used more aiming polish. but a good idea and game nonetheless
The AI ship felt a little weird in terms of aiming, player aiming also felt slow if you just held down left click. I let the AI die and the game still played basically the same in terms of difficulty.
Aiming to AI ship definitely takes getting used to. The AI helps the most in a big group of enemies, and by getting some random lone ships. The player is to overpowered with more bullets, so I might keep that the same.
I'm not sure how to do that in Godot, but I will try to fix that later in a updated version of the game.
I like your take on the theme, though I never really got used to aiming the helper ship. The art style is definitely simplistic but I never had any trouble telling the ships apart. Good job!
I would suggest adding more special attacks, though I can't say much since I didn't master what there currently is.
There are a couple bugs in my game. One is that the bullets don't go away if you restart too quickly. The other bug is that if you die after the first boss, the yellow ships won't go back to normal. So you would have to turn off the game and turn it back on if you want to fix the yellow ships.
