It's a good game, but the writing is just not there. It makes the game feel unstarted, and unfinished.
Or maybe I just missed something
Really enjoyed myself with this one! I like how the atmosphere was set up, and how Rook felt eerie and unnerving, especially with the dialogue he has (the sprites are seriously the cherry on top!)
Glad I finally kicked my ass to play through this VN, amazing job and looking forward to what comes next~!
forgot to rate this when i first downloaded it
a stunning, beautifully haunting story. i started playing this idly one day out of curiosity and it completely gripped me. i stayed up nearly all night reading, and when i had to go to bed, the first thing i did next morning was finish the game in its entirety. simply put, this is a game about fear, desperation, infatuation, and most importantly, loneliness. throughout the entire story, the writing instills upon you a sense of alienation even at your character's most intimate moments, and every character is nameless*, referred to only by a title throughout their respective routes (or not even by a title, in the case of the Main Character). your fate at the end of each story is painfully foreshadowed, but we go towards it anyways because there is no other choice*.
i don't want to keep sounding like a game journalist about this game but i really do insist that you play this game even if you do not usually like yandere stories. it's melancholic, it's desperate, and it's ethereal.
