WHAT IS THIS?

This is a game jam about Yarn Spinner, the friendly tool for writing game dialogue. Used with Unity, Yarn Spinner gives you a simple set of tools for building branching conversations in games, and powers the dialogue in games like Night in the Woods and A Short Hike!

The theme of the jam is threads. A thread is a single strand of something. Multiple threads can be brought together to form something different. Now imagine a thread is a single word or a single sentence. How can you ‘thread’ together something meaningful from those single words or sentences? That’s what this jam is all about.
