How does this game follow the theme of the game jam?
It is quite literally post-apocalyptic, in that it is set after the destruction of the earth. The game ultimately did not work in the web browser, due to suspected complications with CORS, but I had a good time attempting to make it work, and wanted to submit it anyways. Thanks.

Host

Interesting concept! I can't really provide much feedback since the game isn't fully functional, but you may want to consider uploading the game to a hosting service like Netlify or Vercel if your game needs to communicate with an external API. These services offer free hosting and allow you to configure the headers.

Other than that, incorporating ChatGPT is a pretty cool way to make the experience unique to each player. You may want to consider putting more effort into the landing page. Adding the screenshots you posted here on the game's page seems like a great way to encourage players to check out your game as well as adding a background image. Overall, good job!

Thanks for the reply! Netlify/Vercel is certainly a good idea. I'm moving on to a new project or I would go ahead and host it there (the api costs are also a bit high to keep it active as a demo permanently). I did go ahead and create a gameplay video and uploaded that, and then set the landing page to include the video and the screenshots. Thanks for hosting the game jam, I had a great type learning and making this game and will definitely try to participate in future ones!

Also, this could be a bug, but my itch.io is showing that I was the only submission, and if that's the case, I'd love to join your discord and would really enjoy the 1-year of access to ZTM. I'm an aspiring game developer and can use any help I can get in building my skills!
