How does this game follow the theme of the game jam?
The main character is a robot investigating why there's chickens running around. Since its first game ever made, only has one level. Still learning a lot and enjoyed the experience.

Good job on your first platformer. It's got some charm with its pixel-style animation. Here are some things I think could be improved upon.

  • Consider updating the game's page. One aspect of game development is creating a page that encourages players to want to try your game. Adding a cover image, description, and screenshots can go a long way.
  • In addition to sound effects, try adding background music to enhance immersion.
  • While this is a game jam and incomplete games are expected, adding a starting screen and victory screen can make the game feel more polished.

Hi,

Thank you for hosting this game jam. I really appreciate the feedback.

I have yet to figure out how to add a start and game victory screen xD. For background music not sure what to use yet, I believe there could be a c0 like asset in gdevlop but ran out of time to implement it. I should also consider adding in check points along with a screen shot at some point.

This jam made me realize that i should go down the game development path.

Sincerely,

Rigsters
