So yes, The Zambian Game Developers Game Jam is here (finally). Let's make some games in 2 weeks and see what the Zambian Game Dev community is all about. Feel free to submit prototypes and even incomplete games. This is a game jam for all zambians. To make sure we have a large number of submissions you can also submit any unfinished projects so long as they are modified to fit the theme below.(Trying to build a digital footprint)

THEME: POWER SUPPLY⚡💡

We are all aware of how much electricity is a problem in our beloved country, Let's see your take on a game on power supply and electricity. Your main focus should be on design, mechanics and innovative ideas. 

SOME GENERAL IDEAS

• Industrial simulation game
• Platformer with machining elements
• Exploration game with logical switches
• Transportation Tycoon
• Anything va malaiti che(😂)

DURATION:

Most Jams usually last 48 hours, but after considering our power crisis. A 2 week jam makes a lot more sense as it will accomodate everyone.
