We recently started developing of "Bad Trip", It will be about shred the gnar, escaping enemies, beating levels to a electrifying soundtrack of rock music. This fast paced game is intended to push you to the limit as you outmaneuver your pursuers.


you'll be able to unlock boards to suit your style and skills

Riding the waves will attract attention to enemies who will stop at nothing to take you down



With lightning-fast reflexes and killer moves, you'll need to dodge obstacles, perform epic tricks and escape from enemies with style.

Whether you're playing casual or aggressive the challenge never lets up.

Implementing more models during this week, here's this guy that will make "Surf guy" adventure a living hell:


Here's an update with board selection screen and a couple of tricks, shout-out to NEGATIVE SPACE for letting us use their song in our video

Time to test jump height and basic speed.

Slow down mechanic when hitting obstacles working too.

We've been adding tricks, a simple collectable system that will be useful in the future to reach the end of a level and finally if you slow down you eventually get caught by enemy. (anticlimactic ending as a placeholder for now)

Ramp function looking good, when Surfguy crashes into an obstacle, the speed slows down, a song tracker at the top and water! finally, some water.

Nice video, I like the music and atmosphere. I also appreciate the reflection of objects in the water and the animations. I have two comments 😄:

  1. The movements of the character are a bit abrupt when we move him to another lane.
  2. When will you replace the default unity sky by a custom one 😅

Hi Eyon! glad you liking the music, thats gonna be a major part along with the fast pace aspect ha, and you're totally right about the "lane change", we still need to polish it more, we're actually planning on adding particles fx that hopefully will help with that "stiffness"? and we'll keep Unity sky for some more time until we settle down all the mechanics 😜 Thanks for stopping by!
