Under setting you can uncheck the "Show content marked as adult in search & browse". Any content that the developers have marked as adult will no longer be shown to you.

If you have nudity or sex in your art, it usually qualifies for being necessary to be marked as adult. The setting is what you want. Unfortunaly you cannot deactivate that setting, since you have published a marked as adult game yourself.
You can always browse in a new incognito window. That will have that setting off.
There are only two maturity settings on itch. On or off. And nudity is generally put in the category "on" . Even if it would be artistical or could be shown in day time tv. Ok, maybe not in the US.
I understand what you mean, but itch is US based, and they do not differentiate between different shades of nsfw. At least not in this case.
That setting doesn't work, want proof? in an icognito window or with an account with the setting unchecked go to "new and popular" with paid turned on and scroll to the ~7th row (6 items per row). That has been there since I reported it for being miscatagorized three days ago and made a post about it and other items that slip right through the adult filter 2 days ago...
If you find games with adult content that are not correctly labeled, it is best to report them.
The problem is that each developer is responsible for labeling their games, if they don't do it correctly, it is impossible for the filter to work as expected.
If you want to complain about that, it's best to make a new post instead of hijacking someone else's post who is asking a question.
This is clearly relevant to the discussion of OP not wanting to see adult content and wanting to filter it out. They are having the exact same problem and I merely pointed out that the filter wont help them completely. Why is that hijacking? Because I mentioned having the problem as well?

You, on the other hand, are angry because some developers do not label games correctly, making it difficult for people to properly filter the content and I totally agree with you on that, it is very annoying.
The difference? Look at your answer, you don't comment that some games may be mislabeled, if not, you state that that configuration doesn't work.
If you search for role-playing games, and you find 100 erotic games, if you apply the filter, you will eliminate 99, the one that remains is because the developer did not label it properly, but the filter works because it eliminated the other 99.
