Suit up for some awesome brawling action and a plot that’s here to make you laugh, cry, shake with anger, and then laugh some more.

Fit for a King

Assume the powers of history’s dumbest god-king in Fit For a King, where your regal power knows no bounds. With 26 different commands, just about anything is allowed so long as it’s as goofy as possible. Marry a chair, execute a bear (who is also one of your advisors), knight random peasantry, the world is your oyster! If you’ve ever wondered what Henry VIII would be like without any form of discretion, this hilarious romp is your answer.

Tales from Off-Peak City Vol. 1

CosmoD is one of my favorite surrealist game developers working and once you play Tales from Off-Peak City you’ll know why. Make some weird pizzas for your even weirder neighbors as you explore a strange neighborhood where nothing is what it seems (and it already seems pretty weird). There’s a great story in here and some really fun moments that will win over the most skeptical players. 

Pixeljam Complete Collection

It’s rare to see an indie studio from 2005 still around, but Pixeljam has managed to weather every storm that has come their way. To celebrate their durability Pixeljam has released a massive trove of all of their games, prototypes, design docs, and commentary. If you’ve ever wanted to see the way a studio grows and changes over time this is one of the best ways to do it. Oh, and did I mention the games are great too? Learn more about design or relax with some arcade classics with this awesome collection.

House

Sometimes you need a little horror to keep you awake during winter’s dark nights. House is here to deliver the scares you need inside of a perfect pixelated aesthetic. Try to guide your young ward out of an increasingly strange and deadly house while running into a cast of colorful characters. What’s lurking in the darkness of this ever-shifting home? You’ll have to play to find out!

Shutter Stroll

Rounding out the bundle is Shutter Stroll, one of the most relaxing games ever made. Explore procedurally generated islands armed with nothing but your trusty camera. Take pictures of scenery that inspires you, and if you can’t find anything to your liking you can generate a new island with the press of a button. Find beautiful vistas and capture them forever in this game that meets you wherever you are. You won’t find a game with more chill anywhere.
