Zankle Soft is proud to announce that a new game is under development!

The project, currently known under the provisional name of "Calais", is a strategy/management game for the ZX Spectrum 48K and later models, inspired by a title for 16-bit home computers released more than 30 years ago.

It is most ambitious Zankle Soft project so far, following the tradition of this software house in creating retro games rich in atmosphere, with compelling gameplay and a great attention to details.

Starting from today, for the next few days, a picture of an element taken from the actual games will be shown, together with some clues.

Finally, a demo video showing several features of the game developed so far will be released. At the same time, the definitive title will be publicly announced.

A figure pointing a sword to the sky in sign of victory. Behind it, a setting sun shines on a red sky. What could this gesture be celebrating? A triumph on a battlefield, perhaps?
