Hello everybuggy

I want to use this space as more of a blog now, ideally weekly but never so long as to yap your ear off. First is TTRPG related stuff and then after maybe a paragraph or so on what’s happening in my life, the oversharing zone. Let’s begin!

TTRPGs: Not much movement (see below) but that’s about to change as my schedule lightens up for the next two months. Just picked up a hardback copy of LANCER at my LGS, a game which needs no introduction but one I am curious to learn from. My zine of Biotrophication arrived through the mail, the first in-print offerings from rising star game designer and hostess of The Awards, Darling Demon Eclipse. I helped consult on it, so you also get to see my name in the credits too as a bonus. Will probably write more deeply on both games in future weeks.

IoDM is still in progress, with the art and writing slowed but never stopping. Luna is doing killer work on the layout, and it feels like we’ve just begun to smooth things into place there. I want to have it finished soon so I can focus on my step exams in the summer but I’m done with self-imposing deadlines. Imposing deadlines on other people is a different matter; so reminder that if you backed at the $200 tier, I need you alt TF sketch submissions by the 20th!

Life: I just wrapped up a weak of night shifts on the OB labor and delivery deck. Terrible for my sleep and health but OB on a whole is a lot of fun. Also, apparently I am the twin whisperer since we delivered like 5 twins in a 7 day period. That’s 6 babies out of 12 deliveries I did, which is statistically bonkers. Not too much else to say, I was totally focused on work for the whole week, which made me decide to delete Twitter. Now I only use my phone for Discord and playing Kimeno Mahjong.
