It’s a pleasure to greet you all again.

After intense weeks of work on my Undermax Cloud project, we're finally back to plugin development!

(Though technically I didn't stop at all, since the systems created for Undermax Cloud include more than 10 exclusive plugins built entirely from scratch, except for the Itch.io link, which I had to fix up quite a bit too, haha.)

But anyway, let’s get to it:

Introducing the "Simple Cooking System"

A system that will let you combine ingredients (in other words, items) to create new ones. And we’re adding something extra: tools.

Let’s think about it this way:

What do we need to make a beef stew?

• Beef
• Vegetables
• Hot Water
• Spices

Of course, in real life, you don’t just throw everything in a pot, and food magically appears.

There’s a process involved, like cutting the beef, sautéing the vegetables, heating the water, and mixing the broth.

Now...
I’m not about to turn your game into Overcooked, don’t worry, but we are going to try to give your project a bit more realism than the typical Alchemist system.

So, with this plugin, you’ll be able to combine items and select the tool you want to use to create something new.

For example, combining Beef + Spices with the Knife produces nothing.
But if you use Beef + Spices with the Oven, it results in Seasoned Beef.

Basically, your imagination is the limit.

Of course, I’ve added the option to incorporate your own tools. Although I’ve included the simplest and most basic ones by default that you’re likely to use, you can add whichever you want.

I’m just starting on the development of the plugin, so don’t expect major progress yet, but as you know from these posts, I like to give you a peek at what I’m currently working on to give you a better idea…

I’m not sure when it will be ready, but if it’s not ready by this week, I’ll definitely have it done by next week!
