The Great Sky Islands of Oa’lin were once grounds for conflicts between the Oalianians and their Ancient defenders of Oa’lin. The trees and grass of the Great Sky Island are poisoned with the metals of the Ancient defenders making it virtually unlivable for anyone except the evolved life that wanders around on these massive rock behemoths.

The Oa’lin cities were decimated by their working kind, the Oa’lin defenders. The defenders were Ancient servants to the Oalianians who were the creators of the grand cities in the skies. The defenders started thinking to themselves becoming more and more intelligent until they couldn’t handle the stress of being ordered to do the most dangerous tasks.

After the destruction of the creators of the defenders, the defenders couldn’t keep their selves stable or taken care of. The loss of their creators took the skills and the knowledge to fix themselves therefore they caused their extinction.

No one knew what happened to the great empire of the Oalianians and so were forgotten for millenniums.
