Hi all,

It has been a while since I've given you all an update on the status of chapter two. Originally, I wanted to release part one of chapter two on the 31st of January, but with how tight things have been, I could only write sparingly. However, I do have good news. 

A reason for part one taking longer than anticipated was because I decided to add more content. I decided to add some time with Theo, Nico and Astrid in part one. It was a huge detour from my original chapter outline and has greatly increased my workload, but truth be told, I am really happy with what I've written for it.

At this rate, chapter two will definitely be longer than chapter one. In chapter two, you can look forward to:

• Waking up after the attack
• Meeting Arabella
• Learning what happened after you passed out and being struck by a shocking revelation
• Having some downtime with Theo, Nico or Astrid
• Take part in the soul trial (the test to decide whether you can join the soulforge order or not)

Currently, I am working on the scenes with Nico and Astrid, Theo's scenes have been completed, and then I will focus on the last few scenes left for the update. The current word count is 26 621, and I am excited to share it with all of you. 

Thank you for your patience, and I'm sorry I couldn't keep my end of January deadline like I wanted. I will work hard to push an update out by mid-February. For those unaware, I do work full-time and pick up odd jobs here and there to make ends meet, so this is something I can only do when I have free time. But know that I am writing whenever I can, and I'll keep working hard.
