It crashed on me mid game the first time (running on Chrome), but ran smoothly second time. Well done on completing your first jam! The gameplay is clean and the art and music fit the retro style very well! However, there isn't much that is 'modern' about the game.
The game worked for me! I played it through and I must say, for a 2 day project I am really fond of the fact, that you added sound into this game!
I took some time for the game to finish, cause when it said "0 Enemies to kill", I could still kill some for like 5 seconds or so.
The game play feels really repetitive really quickly. But for a project with a dev-time of 2 days, you cannot ask for too much.

Music was the easiest part of development - I have some experience in music production.

Did it crash in browser or .exe? I've checked, it even starts in browser on my phone(lol). Sometimes there's lag when you shoot first projectile, you just have to wait and the game continues.
