I know that switching palettes in an option menu is fine but can i bake switching palettes in as a core mechanic. For more detail the game I'm working on (and probably won't finish) uses color to differentiate the two spells, the rule being that one color of spells can only be on screen at a time. For example let's say red and blue colored spells are two different types of magic and and say some blue spell(s) is casted until the spell(s) fade red colored spells cannot used.
