I wanted to add a third color, but i dont think it will be worth it, so, i could make two sprites, one with the areas that will be full white, and another with the greyish parts, then i add these two sprites to an object, and made the second sprite’s opacity lower. Is this allowed?

No, because there will be 3 colors on the screen.

Oh, and just to make sure, does this apply to lighting?
