Pretty nice game, though the player's movement speed is a little slow in my opinion, but once again, that's probably just a me problem.
Enjoyed this! Really liked the music!
fun game with decent art, it took me a minute to get used to the shooting mechanic being at the mouse. I think I would have got the idea faster if the ship had a turret always facing the mouse, or if the mouse had a crosshair sprite. That said I think that the ship traversal being separate from where your aiming added some fun difficulty to the game
Woohoo!!! I win!!!! :)
The ending screen is adorable, certainly worth the wait! The ship controls reminded me of my game! My controls are based on the classic "Turn and Thrust" as well. My one complaint is that at the end of the game you end up searching for the final enemy, which can be a tedious task when the level is so big without any landmarks of sorts. I'm happy to see this style game in the jam, I was going for a similar retro-space thruster type game as well.
Great job!!!
Thanks for the review and feedback! :) I agree there needs to be an indicator to show an enemy. I joined the jam late and had some time constraints doing this solo, but this was a good first-time experience.
I liked the simple geometric ship designs
Thanks for playing!
If this was released in 1970, you'd be a billionaire.
I agree, now time to get this on a floppy disk and transport it to 1970...
A simple but cool game! Not easy to destroy all the enemy ship, it was nice!
Glad you liked it, I had a lot of fun making it
basic, but could be a good passtime.
That was the goal :)
