You are not wrong that it's a tough game! I couldn't get past the spikes (level 4 I think). I was wondering if the down direction is used in later levels? If not, that space could be used for other actions which would have made it easier for me. :) Overall nice job, and probably a good test case for the engine it looks like you are writing.
