Identical Jam at the same time

There is another jam with a very similar (the same?) idea. https://itch.io/jam/the-one-button-game-jam

Given both jams have about 20 people joined so far, does it make sense to combine the two? They start and end just a couple of days apart.

Well, I've been doing this one at the same period of the year for a few years now, and will continue doing so. Having only one jam for this topic would maybe be 1% better overall, but not much more? =) This doesn't change a lot the situation of people wanting to join. You may simply want to join the game jam offering themes suiting you the best. Also, the other jam is based on notes and ranks. I prefer unranked jams. Feel free to submit beginner games.

Oh, I double checked and actually there is a big difference in the rules. The other jam allows for mouse movements. In our jam, any mouse axis is considered as a button, so mouse movement + a button would not hit the target constraint.
